Psychotherapy

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy
(depth-psychology–based psychotherapy)

I invite you to work with me, in dialogue, to understand how you became the unique person you are today — with your strengths, your vulnerabilities, and the suffering that weighs on you. Our work is guided by a psychodynamic understanding of the mind: the conviction that our experiences with significant others, especially in childhood and adolescence, profoundly shape us. They influence how we experience the world, how we act within it, what helps us grow, and where we struggle.

It is also the conviction that new experiences can change the way we relate to the world at any point in life. Therapy can be such a transformative experience. Looking closely at what is — without judging or condemning — is liberating. It creates a space of trust and confidence in which the old can shift and the new can grow:

What is, is allowed to be -
And what is allowed to be, can change.

Beyond the psychodynamic foundation, I also integrate therapeutic elements from several other approaches, especially hypno-systemic work and Ego State Therapy.

Trauma treatment
For trauma (post-traumatic stress disorder and complex trauma), I also work with Psychodynamic Imaginative Trauma Therapy (PITT), in which I was trained by Luise Reddemann.
